Brexit … No One Knew

Brexit. Brexit was supposed to sink the stock market.  But in truth, no one knew what the stock market would do.  And in truth, know one knew what the stock market will do. As we’ve said, the one thing that will keep you safe, is a process with positive expectancy ..

    I honestly didn’t know how the vote would turn out. But, in the British tradition, I knew to keep calm and carry on.

    Being low funded sucks, but you have to start somewhere. I wasn’t able to do anything in the form of stock buying this week.

    That’s why it’s important to keep cash in the trading account for events like this.

    The real test for me will be to see if the S&P 500 goes and stays over 2100 for a few weeks and 18,000 on the DOW. If it doesn’t we’ll remain in this range yet again.

    I currently own GIS, AWK, and XOM. If I was a short term trader, I’d probably sell on this quick win, but it doesn’t do me any good at this point. Selling is by far the hardest part of stock investing/trading.

    Looks like I’ll be selling some silver again……..going towards $20.
