Earnings Season is upon us.
Con calls can be a bit dry to review.
In the past, I have idly ruminated and flirted with the idea that I will drop listening to conference calls during earnings season. Instead, simply measure standard deviation of the the basket of equities we track, comparing that to similar historical deviations.
But such measurements cannot give me the ‘meat’ that I derive from such calls. There is a ‘flavor’ and level of detail I derive from tuning in, that no mathematical measurement can possibly provide. So I’ll grin, bear it, and get through another earnings season.
