SHARPE INCOME … And One More Purchase

The original Sharpe Income post that explains this project can be found here.

The Sharpe Income category be found by clicking on that red ‘Sharpe Income’ tag next to this post title, or by clicking here.

We continue the discussion from the last entry.

We began this project, which is free to follow along, with $500. All in an effort to help out the small retail investor understand the importance of growing an income account, as opposed to a trading account.

As previously stated, we ‘re-balanced’ the capital gains strategy that is embedded within this project, and sold off all of our capital gains instruments.  Yesterday, we bought back PCY, IVV and SHY.

Today, we are going to consider ONE (1) share of TLT being bought for the project, at current prices.

These instruments are purchased, under the “ETF Commission Free” program, as previously outlined, that many brokers offer.

We will soon record the exact metrics on the spreadsheet in a short while, and continue the ‘Sharpe Income‘ project in the next entry
