This morning, we’ll have an order to pick up some shares for the project.  A purchase for income assets

Actionable View of Markets for ‘Sharpe Income’

American Express (AXP):   And the winner is … American Express (AXP).

For the purposes of this Sharpe Income project, the order will to buy 3 shares of American Express (AXP) at current market prices of today.  Basically what this means, is that regardless of an accounts size, for the purposes of income a normal sized position could be bought of American Express (AXP).

I like watching 4 hour charts, and daily charts.  A little momentum has been building in American Express (AXP) prices.

If you note the daily chart …

You will see that the Aroon (22) tool just began to an “up” or “bullish” bent on the trend.

Logically, this means that if you look at a 4 hour chart …

You will see that the bullish trend has been building up for some time, intra-day.  Which again, is only logical.  If bullish strength has started to show up on the daily chart, then it is going to have demonstrated itself on the 4 hour chart.  And here on the 4 hour chart, we see that Aroon (22) moved to a bullish trend back on the 17th of March.

What does that portend for the future?

I don’t know.  No one does.

But I do know that American Express (AXP) has fallen in price in recent months, and now, the charts demonstrate that it’s showing a little bit of strength.

And there is yield.

And I believe that yield is stable.

So again, for the purposes of this project?  We’re purchasing three shares.

As well?  You will note that the spreadsheet (link below) has changed somewhat.  We’ve made a few improvements.  If you wish to see how these improvements are made, then you can watch the following video

The link to the Google Drive Spreadsheet that you can view, that we will edit, build upon and refer to over time can be found at this link.

We continue the Sharpe Income project with this next entry.
