Watch as High-Frequency Trading ‘Manipulates’ IN FAVOR of a Small Retail Account

A video today folks.

And I’m sorry, but it’s just a bit to watch.  Here at “Sharpe Trade”, I’m going to attempt to keep the videos short.  Maybe between 5 or 6 minutes.

But as you may have noted from our “Welcome Video“, the nonsense that has been publicized regarding “High Frequency Trading“, really sort of irritates us. So I took some time with this video. A swing trade on Ford (F), long … from beginning to end.

As you will see at the end of the video, there are 5 other accounts going on.

But I wanted to take this very tiny, small retail account … the one that the old service I once ran … Aileron Market Balance … the account that it was based off of, the type of account people are constantly being told … there is HFT manipulation against and that the ‘stock market is rigged’, and demonstrate that this is nonsense.  Are there HFT problems?  Yes.  Does this mean that the ‘stock market is rigged’?  No.  That’s nonsense.

Its always been nonsense

What makes this so funny … is that in this example trade on the one tiny account?

HFT gave the little account a better fill than it would have otherwise gotten

So yes .. HFT is out there folks …

Giving me the best fills I’ve ever seen in my LIFE.

I want in long at $14.09?  I was filled at $14.088.  I want out at $15.07?   I was filled at $15.07525.
